Privacy notice

This notice covers the data you send us through the forms on the Atelier Vella website (availability request and booking-opening notice), under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Who handles your data

Data controller: Dario Vella, owner of Atelier Vella (Portiglioni, 58020 Scarlino GR, Italy). For any question about your data: info@ateliervella.com.

What we collect

Name, email, phone number if you give it, travel dates, number of guests and your message. For the booking-opening notice: your email and, if you give them, name, dates, number of guests and whether you travel with a dog.

Why we use it

Only to answer your request and, if you book, to arrange your stay. The legal basis is your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). If you sign up for the booking-opening notice, we use your email only to tell you when direct bookings open, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); if you then don't book, we delete it by summer 2027. We don't use your data for advertising and don't share it with anyone.

Where it is stored

The form is run by Netlify, Inc. (USA), the service that hosts the website, which forwards your request to us by email. The transfer outside the EU is covered by the standard contractual clauses provided for by the GDPR. We keep the data as long as needed to reply and, if you book, as long as the law requires (for example tax rules and the guest registration with the Italian police).

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data by writing to info@ateliervella.com. You can also contact the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country.

Cookies

The website uses no tracking cookies and no analytics. Fonts are served from the website itself. Map links open Google Maps, which has its own privacy policy.
